The industry

tells the story

Different times, different campaigns. Working in the hospitality industry is a party and everyone could use that after COVID. That became the focus of campaign 1. But the sector is also a serious employer. So in campaign 2, the versatility of working in the hospitality industry was the most important message. In both campaigns, hospitality employees were central. Their stories, photos and videos brought the campaigns to life to call: ‘Kom werken in de horeca’, roughly translated as ‘Start your career in hospitality’.

Be creative with recruitment

Staff shortage. A well-known challenge, also for the hospitality industry. And recruitment has not become easier since the pandemic. And while guests are eager for a freshly tapped beer or a weekend getaway, hospitality entrepreneurs are eager for motivated and qualified staff. The great thing is that the industry offers something for everyone: full-time, part-time or flexible in addition to another job. So, it's important to not only focus on hospitality professionals and students, but also on lateral entrants.
